Perception: Between Understanding and Knowledge

People say the words “from my perspective” and “from my point of view” a lot to prepare the listener to hear their claims and/or opinions. In this video, I discuss perception in relation to actual understanding and knowledge and try to map out where it stands in comparison to them. I do that by starting from a discussion of Plato’s Theaetetus up until Hegel’s Phenomenology going through Kant’s first critique.
